This weekend I attended and gave two lectures at the 2nd Annual World Peace and Yoga Jubilee. Along with glamazone Chloe Jo Davis, I spoke about Cruelty-Free Fashions and beauty products, and Healthy and Sane Family Living for the Vegan Parent. Held at the Grailville Center outside of Loveland, OH, we were blessed with beautiful, warm, fall weather and enjoyed several quiet, caterpillar-filled strolls around the farm. Founded by Will Tuttle, the author of the World Peace Diet , and his wife Madeleine, this is the Jubilee’s 2nd year.
After flying to Cincinnati and driving an hour to the Loveland, Ohio location of the event, Chloe, her 6 month old son Panther, and husband Jeremy and I were all pretty tuckered out. Still, we were excited and rallied to present our information on how to look great (if we do say so ourselves) without using animal skins and products to adorn ourselves. The audience was receptive and had great questions. Chloe and I plan on giving this talk many times in the future, as it will give us a chance to share resources with people who need them – it also gives us a chance to wear our hot Cri De Coeur shoes some more!
It was an honor to present alongside such luminaries as Dr. Gabriel Cousins (who has cured Diabetics of their disease with a raw foods diet!), Will Tuttle, Sharon Gannon & David Life, and Lilias Folan “The 1st Lady of Yoga.”
When I was a kid, my mom and I used to do yoga in the mornings before school, and her show “Lilisa, Yoga & You” were our favorite show! Heck, it was the ONLY yoga show on TV back then! Meeting her was a highlight of the weekend for me. I blushed and excitedly asked her to take a picture with me.
The event provided incredible, healthy, delicious, lip-smacking vegan and raw food for the participants. I appreciated the fresh, organic green juices, home-grown sprouts, delicious salads, and hearty breakfast provided by the organizers and Mark and Anna.
Next year, if I’m invited back, I’ll go for the entire event to participate in what looked to be top-notch yoga classes taught by Sharon Gannon and David Life, the co-founders of Jivamukti Yoga, one of my favorite yoga studios and cafes in New York City.
(Here’s a video I made about taking my clients to their JivamukTea cafe!)
There were authors, artists, and food producers there sharing their books and products with the conference attendees. I met and chatted with authors Colleen Patrick-Goudreau and Melanie Joy about their books on vegan cooking and food politics. (keep an eye here for book give-aways from these gorgeous authors!)
Sign up for next year’s conference – we’ll be back for sure!

It was a great event and I had alot of fun too. Beautiful energy & interest for Arbonne products. People seemed happy to know that Arbonne is vegan and PETA approved. It’s great to know that you can have a vegan business with a health & wellness company. I would be happy to share more info about the Arbonne opportunity. Please Contact me at 513-226-1840.
Much love
